Understanding white privileged, rather than just reacting to the term is helpful. And it is important that it is discussed in the context of privilege first and the white kind second. Economic privilege matters more, but we’ve all always know that.

It is also important to understand that privilege in this context is an unearned, systemic and dominant advantage that a person has all the time. So, yes, males have privileges but in the modern US context so do women and on balance there is no “male privilege”.
