When I read the possible answers, I thought to myself, how much would I pay to be black … to be able to wake up and decide what color I will be that day. Though, given the world we live in, I would most often pick white.

Another and perhaps more value defining way to do this is to ask black students how much they would pay to be white. I know a lot who would say zero.
